Visual art is a means by which your ideas will take tangible form and be used to communicate meaning. At Victoria School, you will learn from dedicated teachers including visiting artists how to refine your personal expression. Through a variety of studio-based disciplines such as drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and installation, you will become proficient at expressing your ideas through the elements and principles of art. There may be opportunities for collaborative projects between the arts and academics, as well as for visits to art exhibitions in the community. You will be exposed to historical and contemporary art, theory, and practices, which will help you to appreciate and interpret the rich visual culture the world has to offer.
